THE INFORMATION ARCHITECTURE DESIGN (IAD) FRAMEWORK
is an emerging cross-channel intellectual, educational, and community-oriented environment dedicated to the advancement of Information Architecture Design.
Welcome to the website of the IAD Framework.
The IAD Framework brings together theory, practice, research, education, publication, and participation around a shared concern: the role of information architecture in the formation of meaning across artefacts, systems, institutions, and social reality.
At the centre of the IAD Framework is the IAD Canon: a developing body of theory exploring Information Architecture as a phenomenon of structure, meaning, and consequence.
