This page outlines the authorship, publication status, attribution requirements, and conditions of use associated with Canon publications.
Authorship and Publication
Each publication identifies its author or authors. Unless otherwise stated, publications currently issued through the IAD Framework are authored by Jason Hobbs.
The IAD Framework serves as the publisher and publication environment through which these works are made publicly available. Copyright and other intellectual property rights remain with the named author or rights holder unless otherwise stated within a publication.
Publication Status and Versioning
Each publication identifies its publication status and, where applicable, its edition and version.
A public release constitutes a stable, citable publication at the edition and version specified. Subsequent changes will be issued as a new version or edition. Materials identified as drafts, developmental releases, provisional texts or works in progress may be revised, restructured, superseded or withdrawn.
Citation and Attribution
Publications should be cited using the publication data provided in the front matter of the document PDF, adapted to the conventions of the referencing system being used. Citations should retain the named author or authors, publication year, full title, publication identifier where applicable, edition (where applicable) and version, IAD Framework as publisher, and the relevant URL.

ISBN and DOI identifiers for the publications currently available through the IAD Framework are forthcoming (as at 26 August 2026).
Use of Publications
IAD Framework publications are made available to support personal study, teaching, research, discussion, critique, and scholarly and professional engagement.
Concepts, definitions, propositions, frameworks and other material drawn from these publications may be discussed and cited with appropriate attribution. Access to a publication does not transfer ownership of its intellectual property.
Sharing and Redistribution
Links to IAD Framework publications may be shared freely. Complete, unaltered publication files may also be redistributed for non-commercial purposes, provided that all authorship, publication and rights information remains intact.
No publication or part of a publication may be presented as the original work of another person or organisation. Redistribution does not authorise the creation or circulation of altered, incomplete or incorrectly attributed versions.
Permissions and Commercial Use
Prior written permission is required to sell a publication; publish an altered, translated or adapted version; reproduce substantial parts of it as a separate work; or incorporate it into a commercial product.
