TE-002 asks how meaning becomes real enough to constrain action in the world. It approaches this as a problem of design, use and social reality through the IAD concept of Contrived Ontology.

The Extension establishes its scope and ontological commitments before explaining how to read the comparative table. Rows distribute explanatory responsibility across theoretical accounts; columns provide consistent dimensions through which those accounts can be compared.

The meta-framework and accompanying theory map organise complementary accounts across frame-scale and role. The final sections draw out the framework’s implications, while Appendix A records its theoretical provenance.
