IAD
ENCOUNTER
— 001
THE
FRAMEWORK

CONFIRMATION OF PAYMENT

Across two live 90 minute sessions, participants will engage with the theory of IAD through discussion, guided traversal, and creative studio-based exercises.

Together we will explore:

• A design-theoretic account of Information Architecture beyond organisation, navigation, and sense-making

• The relationship between meaning, structure, and form across artefacts, systems, and concepts

• The conceptual foundations of Information Architecture Design

• Practical methods for analysing and composing meaning in design and in the wild

• The emerging landscape of the IAD Canon, Framework, and Community of Practice

The Framework Encounter 001 is intentionally introductory. It is designed to orient participants to the territory, language, and concerns of IAD while providing direct engagement with the ideas through discussion and studio work.
